MainCor's Main Street Mile, May 7

The 4th ANNUAL MA1N STREET M1LE will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2011. Mark your calendars for this one mile, chip timed, USTAF sanctioned event on Kansas City's very own Main Street!

Please join us for our monthly meeting at All Soul's Unitarian Church at 45th & Warwick, tonight starting at 7:00pm.

2011 Westport St. Patrick's Day Run

The 2011 Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run will be held on Saturday, March 12th starting at 10:00 a.m. This exciting 4-mile run starts at Mill Street & Westport Road and heads south to 43rd Street, east to Warwick, north to 38th, then east another couple of blocks to Gillham, north to Linwood, west to Pennsylvania and south to Westport Road. There will be street closures as the runners approach each area. Streets will be reopened by KCPD as soon as runners clear each area – and the entire run should be complete by 11:30 a.m. This event attracts a lot of runners from within and outside of the area – we understand there are already 500+ more registrants for this year’s run than last year!

We wanted to let you know to be ready for these brief street closures on Saturday morning, March 12th! You might want to cheer on the runners as they pass your vantage point!
