Extensive Road Closures in KC This Weekend

The City of Kansas City, Mo., advises residents that there will be extensive road closures in Kansas City, Mo., on Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28 from 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The closures are due to the North Face Endurance Challenge, a 50K, marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, 10K, 5K and Children’s 1K race course that begins and ends at Frank A. Theis Park, located at Oak and 47th streets.

The road closures will be rolling, as each road affected will close approximately 30 minutes before runners are anticipated, and will reopen immediately after the last runner passes through.
