Temporary Street Closures

Info from the Broadway-Westport Council
The 2012 Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run will be held this Saturday, March 10th starting at 10:00 a.m.!!!

This 4-mile run starts at Mill Street & Westport Road and heads south to 43rd Street, east to Warwick, north to 38th, then east another couple of blocks to Gillham, north to Linwood, west to Pennsylvania and south to Westport Road. The maps (attached and below) show the route. There will be street closures as the runners approach each area. Streets will be reopened by KCPD as soon as runners clear each area – and the entire run should be complete by 11:30 a.m. This event attracts a lot of runners from within and outside of the area – we understand there could be upwards of 4500 runners at this year’s event!
